It's the foundation for the conveniences I have now; the internet. Thank God for this resource and excellent way to witness. No, I have not read that book.

I noted in another post that I work weird hours & sometimes can't get here for a couple of days. A fundamentalist Christian resembles an orthodox Jew in many ways. Stuck to the letter of the law. And unwilling to accept anything other than Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide, neither of which are explicitly cited in Scripture. Most fundamentalists I know are really beautiful Christians with whom it is a joy to discuss Scripture. And they are the light of Christ in the world. They started me back to Christianity. Katzee, I belonged to the Solid Rock Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church. This was around 1973. I wasn't practicing anything, and got invited to go to a Bible study there. Really, the scales were lifted from my eyes. I was probably with them around 3 years until I went to college, and they moved away. I still have the little KJV they gave me. It's inscribed "It's not new, but it'll do!" I thank God every day for putting those people in my life.

You have been on debate boards PLENTY long enough to know that Roman Catholicism is a monstrous counterfeit of Christianity inspired by the devil himself to destroy both the souls and bodies of men in hell. But you close your mind to the facts because you LIKE it, you like it far more than the plain simple truth of the Living God and his Christ, the pure saving knowlege of God. If you don't start reading scripture for what IT says and BELIEVE and OBEY it, you are going to be lost forever, CLA. And if you will start doing an unbiased (NON LYING) historical investigation of the roman catholic church, you will know without a doubt that its true nature is not at all of GOD and the Lord Jesus Christ. Consider this a HUGE warning, CLA.

Which she can see for herself from an honest read of scripture if she would do that.
