Catholics have explanations for this. With a little luck, you'll get two catholics with the same explanation. Most of them wait until one catholic replies so they can copy what he/she said and in that way they agree with one another.

But most do not separate themselves from her. Actually CLA, it is more likely that the church you belong to are the dissenters, since the Sedes are under Vat I and the old way. At least that is my understanding from anything I have read.

But most people don't run off & start their own religion because of their difference of opinions. We are to pray constantly for the separated sheep to return to the fold. Satan has had a field day with the Blood of Yeshua for centuries the RCC just plays right into his hands, after all he is the spirit behind that heinous system. So, IF God's Word is not all the Truth as given in the Bible (and it is) then you have nothing to worry about when it comes to cannibalism, idolatry and pantheism, BUT IF the Word of God as given to us in the Scriptures IS the Truth, then you have every reason to be afeard for your eternal life. I would be searching the Scriptures daily to make sure what you believe is so. So far, not one former Catholic here has found the RCC to teach the truth when comparing it to God's Word, and we feared for our eternal destiny up until we came to know Yeshua.
