This was posted by the priest TP at Carm. It is the most pitiful thing I have ever seen. Somebody needs to nicely address this with him using scripture.

Your error is that you separate faith in Jesus from the Pope. The role of the Pope is the pass on the divine revelation of Jesus Christ. He is the pastor. To live the Catholic faith is to live the faith as Christ passed it down through his apostles, and through the body of Christ the Church.

If you say can you be saved without the Pope, it is the equivilent to saying can you be saved without the divine revelation of Jesus Christ and the faith of the apostles. They go together. It is all about faith. I don't think you understand the role of the body of Christ.

It's unfortunate but if he actually can't tell the difference between the pope and Jesus Christ, he probably wouldn't believe a thing anyone said anyway.

Hey that is the same guy who told people on carm, Hitler "only" ordered the killings of the Jews [and didnt kill any personally himself] so consider the source.

That is sad, the Vatican is everything to those people. He is one of the masters of casuistry over there, no emotions, cold, sychophant to pope and Vatican.

After he made this statement I saw no one respond to him with just the gospel and scripture to back it up. Not saying no one ever has, just saying it was not done at this incredubly opportune time.

The guy is a mushhead rcc zombie fully and completely brainwashed and can't tell up from down, that is obvious. But why not rebut him with what I said above when the opportunity is so in the faces of the Christians who are posting on this thread with him??? I don't understand that at all. He left the door wide open for it.

Below is something he said to me once; he has said many things to me, including "Something needs to be done about you". When I asked him what he had in mind and would he meet me in the back of the barn, he hightailed it.
